Argh.
Is there such a word as staffs? (I think it's wrong, and I cannot stand it whenever the word pops up in DSTA-wide annoucements)

And because i was so irked, I found this website:

Recently, I've been playing my friends out. Rather frequently.

So much so that I've been called PS(DD). Or Pang Seh (Dua Dua).

What's wrong with me??

I need to stop this. Help.

Anyone thinks that the income ceiling of 8k for HDB is ridiculous??

I think i'm in need of some intellectual stimulation, so i'm considering going for night classes at NUS. Anyone interested in joining me? We can start shopping for classes together. =D

(i just realized that most of people in this small LJ community is overseas. who's left in sg???)

Assuming a linear decrease in my bond value, I earn abt 220 bucks a day towards my bond!

That makes my monthly salary over 10k! Woo! what a great way to look at your bond...

=D

For astar scholars, you earn even more!! Woohoo!

I'm more than halfway home! And I just spent the last 2 hours in Hong Kong International Airport... another 2 more hours to go. damn it.

And I am feeling extremely BORED!

and wireless internet doesn't work here, which means that I'm limited to a 15-min standing, station, and the connection is excruciatingly slow. GGGrrrr.

Almost back! who else is in Singapore?

CentSports

This is a cheap thrill, literally. The website gives you 10 cents, and you can use it to bet on whatever games are going on. Right now, it's Euro 2008. I bet 20c and won 40c on the Portugal game! What amazing odds.

But that's for starters. The odds get normalized once you're into serious betting (and serious amounts).

So I think it exploits the gambling-ban in US by providing you the money, and not allowing you to deposit your own. And you get to cash out once you reach $20. All ad-sponsored.

Interested? Click below and try! Become my crony and I can earn a little bit off you. =D

This is what I had for dinner:

BBQ Bacon Sirloin - 1010 calories
Bacon Cheddar Potato Wedges - 720 Calories
Seasoned Curly Fries - 400 Calories
Medium Diet Coke - 0 calories

Total: 2130 calories

Wow. I exceeded the RDA recommended daily intake in one meal. It's no wonder I'm getting somewhat pudgy...

So I'm thinking that I'll probably build a gaming/entertainment PC when I get back to Singapore, and should I consider LINUX? (if my primary business with that computer is to game, probably not huh? and I should wait for the new XP OS)

In any case, for 25 reasons why one should convert to Linux:

http://www.bellevuelinux.org/reasons_to_convert.html

P.S.
I know PC gaming is really silly, but there is this game that I'm gonna buy (Crysis) and I'm thinking that a good multimedia system will still be cheaper than a PS3 (+HDTV). And I should play my Hellgate London at full specs too...
Did I mention that my brother bought a Wii?

For geeks, you may find these articles extremely amazing.

http://www.scienceray.com/Mathematics/Examples-of-Fibonacci-Numbers-in-Nature.125307

Fact or fiction? Someone go do some measurements and tell me...

http://www.sandia.gov/news-center/news-releases/2004/images/jpg/z-machine.jpg

Remember the huge reactor that was shown in Iron Man? This looks somewhat familiar. Note: this is real, not some photoshop-ed image. It's called a Z-machine. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_machine )

Another cool article I found, as a result of the previous article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive

And a special tribute to one of our dearest not-so-human friend: (i am just refering to the first image of the series of course, but the entire gallery is pretty informative and amazing)

Digg.com rocks. And I really ought to be studying. =P
